The year 2020 begins with a lot of suffering, both the earth and human being, such as the disastrous wildfires in Amazon rainforest and Australia, the East Africa’s plague of locusts, as well as the recent deadly global outbreak of new coronavirus. We, together with the whole creation, groan amidst the pain, turning our eyes upon our Lord’s salvation. How shall we, as Christians, respond to our time?

This year, Lent begins on 26 February. We have prepared a 7-week devotion, “Look, the earth is wailing”, for fellowships or cell groups, as well as individual devotion during the Lent period.
